Loft 1.0.5 to 1.0.7: Agent-assisted specification review
Loft now gives teams and their agents a structured way to review a chosen product specification, surface potentially related assertions, and return findings to people for judgement.
Product specifications become harder to review as they grow. A requirement added in one area may repeat, contradict, or leave a gap beside something written elsewhere. Finding those cases manually takes time, and a simple text search often misses related ideas expressed in different words.
Loft now gives an agent a structured way to review a chosen version of a specification. The agent can bring potentially related assertions together and return focused material for review, without changing the specification or making the decision itself.
Human judgement remains the authority
A related assertion is a prompt to look closer. It is not proof of duplication, conflict, correctness, or conformance. The people designated by the customer decide what the findings mean and whether the specification should change.
Loft also reports when a review could not cover everything requested. A partial result is identified as partial rather than presented as a complete review.
The result is a more useful division of work: agents help people inspect a large specification, while people retain authority over intent, ratification, and acceptance.
